Welcome! Thank you for your continued interest and participation in the many performing arts opportunities at the University of Illinois – Springfield. The new season contains events to satisfy, entertain, educate, and celebrate.
Attractions from West Africa, Spain, Russia, China, and across the U. S. A. will grace our stage and provide you opportunities to experience a variety of cultures from our convenient and comfortable theatre seats.
A very special highlight of the program is an early birthday party for Mr. Lincoln. We celebrate the bicentennial of his birth with Jay Ungar, Molly Mason, a quadrille of local dancers from the Springfield International Folk Dancers, and the 10th Illinois Volunteer Cavalry Band under the direction of UIS Music faculty member, Todd Cranson.
We have continued the process of partnering with campus units, corporate leaders, public and private advocates, and area community organizations to help us realize our mission. We need you, as well.
I invite you to design the package that suits your needs, interests, and dreams. The University of Illinois – Springfield offers you the opportunity to achieve your potential in many ways. Come and share the fun and grow with us!
